3D Virtualization, Visualization, and Immersive Collaboration
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) awarded LinQuest Corporation and LinQuest employee, Art Hughes, "Best of Show" at the 2016 Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium for the 3D Cyber Immersive Collaboration Environment (ICE), known as 3DataLinQ. As noted by Signal Magazine, this technology "allows cyber analysts to view data in an immersive 3-D environment," allowing for rapid data assimilation and, ultimately, significant time and money savings for the end user. "This is the next step in visualization," says Rich Williams, LinQuest Vice President and General Manager. "We use a set of software called Unity 3D; so, rather than having a flat screen with flat graphics, you are now an avatar...and that world allows you to visualize and represent specific sets of data or toolsets." 3DataLinQ is the future of Big Data analytics.
A BMC2 Service Management Tool
The Department of Defense's (DoD) ground evolution must leverage commercial space capabilities for processing and networking technologies to outpace our adversaries' threats development. As a result, LinQuest invested in the development of Lynx™, a service management tool designed to support systems engineering and integration efforts for real-time Battle Management, Command & Control (BMC2) between mission needs and resources.
