Dr. Leon Biederman

Dr. Leon Biederman is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of LinQuest Holdings Corporation and LinQuest Corporation. LinQuest, a wholly owned subsidiary of LinQuest Holdings Corporation, is a company focused on providing highly valued, state-of-the-art, and cost effective technical solutions to the Government and Industry. LinQuest employs over 500 highly talented employees who support all US Military service branches, DoD agencies, the Intelligence Community, and commercial customers.

Dr. Biederman began his professional career at LinCom Corporation in 1975 as a Research Engineer. He held numerous engineering and program management positions while building the LinCom Defense business from nothing to a multimillion-dollar organization. He was promoted to Vice President and then President in 1981 and 1991, respectively.

After the acquisition of LinCom by Titan Corporation in 2000, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Titan Corporation Communications and Software Solutions Division (CSSD) where he had profit/loss responsibility for the division. He served in that position until January 2004 when he joined LinQuest Corporation as part of the Asset Purchase Agreement that transferred most of the assets from CSSD to LinQuest.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Biederman has held various technical and program management positions related to the development of Military Communications Satellites. He is one of the key architects of the EHF MILSATCOM systems, including the development of the terminal to space segment physical and functional interfaces. He is recognized as one of the national experts in processing MILSATCOM satellites and is well respected within the government and contractor development communities.

Dr. Biederman received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1974 and 1977, respectively.

Ronald B. Gorda

Mr. Gorda

Mr. Ronald B. Gorda is Vice Chairman of the Board of LinQuest Holdings and LinQuest Corporation and serves as a special advisor to the LinQuest Corporation CEO.

Prior to joining LinQuest, Mr. Gorda worked for the Titan Corporation from 1991 through 2005. Mr. Gorda joined Titan as the Vice President of the Linkabit Division and was later promoted to Division President. He was elected a Corporate Senior Vice President in 1993 and President of the company's Information Products Sector in 1999. The Sector's focus was on the design, development, and production of state-of-the-art communication systems. The Sector's six divisions aggregate annual revenue exceeded $250M.

Mr. Gorda, and the other members of the corporate management team at Titan, implemented an acquisition and organic growth strategy that resulted in an annual revenue increase from approximately $110M in 1991 to more than $2.3B in 2005. Titan's employee count during this period grew from approximately 200 to more than 13,000 when Titan was sold in 2005 to the L3 Corporation for more than $2.5B.

Before joining Titan, Mr. Gorda worked for Rockwell Collins (1985-1991) managing the design and development of the Milstar Satellite Ground Communications Subsystem. From 1980 through 1985, he held senior engineering and management positions at Magnavox in Torrance, California with the primary focus on the design of commercial GPS products.

Earlier in his career, he was employed by Raytheon Data Systems in Norwood, Massachusetts where he led the digital design engineering team for the company's next generation data terminal. He began his professional career at Hughes Aircraft in 1977 as a Test Engineer.

Mr. Gorda received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth in 1977.

Matthew C. Lyons

Mr. Matthew Lyons is a Member of the Board, Chief Financial Officer, and Senior Vice President of LinQuest Holdings and LinQuest Corporation.

Prior to joining LinQuest, Mr. Lyons was the Director for Business Development for the Communications and Software Solutions Division (CSSD) of Titan Corporation. Mr. Lyons helped grow CSSD's revenues from $12M in 2001 to $18M in 2003.

Mr. Lyons has a background in satellite communications and telecommunications. He has held management positions at ADC Telecommunications, Ryerson Tull, and FMC Corporation. Mr. Lyons also spent four years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force developing communications satellites.

Mr. Lyons holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

F. Scott Stowe

Mr. Scott Stowe is a Member of the Board of LinQuest Holdings Corporation and LinQuest Corporation. In addition Mr. Stowe is COO, and Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Space Systems Engineering and Integration Group of LinQuest Corporation.

Prior to joining LinQuest, Mr. Stowe spent fifteen years in the Air Force where he worked on various satellite, airborne, and terrestrial communications systems. In 1992, he joined LinCom Corporation where he led various development and systems engineering efforts in military satellite communications programs as a Senior, Principal, and then Corporate Engineer.

Upon acquisition of LinQuest in 2000, he was assigned the Director of Operations Engineering at the Communications and Software Solutions Division of Titan Corporation. Mr. Stowe has been in the industry for more than three decades holding numerous technical and managerial positions within the Air Force, LinCom, Titan, and now LinQuest.

Mr. Stowe earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly in 1986 and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1990.

Dr. John Alexovich

Dr. John Alexovich

Dr. John Alexovich is a Member of the Board of LinQuest Holdings Corporation and LinQuest Corporation In addition Dr. Alexovich is Vice President of LinQuest Corporation.

Prior to joining LinQuest, Dr. Alexovich began his career at Hughes Aircraft Company's Space and Communications Division in 1979. While at Hughes Aircraft, he led the design and development of the Milstar Crosslink payload for the Block I system. Dr. Alexovich also completed his MSEE and Ph.D. degrees as a Hughes Fellow.

From 1988 to 1995, Dr. Alexovich worked at LinCom Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer. At LinCom, he contributed to the system design of the MDR Milstar System and the Teledesic System.

In 1995, Dr. Alexovich joined Hughes Communications Company as Deputy Director of a newly-formed End-to-End System Architecture organization. The System Architecture Organization provided the Systems Engineering and Integration for all of the Hughes Space Communication systems for commercial, DoD, and government agency customers. In this role, he led the end-to-end systems engineering for the Thuraya Mobile Satellite System including contract negotiations on system hand-over for commercial operations.

In 2003, Dr. Alexovich joined Titan Corporation Communications and Software Solutions Division (CSSD) as a Chief Engineer and Technical Director for CSSD Transformational Communications System activities. In January 2004, Dr. Alexovich joined LinQuest Corporation as part of the Asset Purchase Agreement that transferred most of the assets from the CSSD to LinQuest.

Dr. Alexovich received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1981 and 1988, respectively.

Joseph K. Dodd

Mr. Joseph K. Dodd is a Member of the Board of LinQuest Holdings Corporation and LinQuest Corporation. In addition Mr. Dodd is Chief Growth Officer, and Vice President of LinQuest Corporation.

Prior to joining LinQuest, Mr. Dodd led business development for TASC, a Division of Northrop Grumman, and served as a Corporate Officer. At TASC, he also had assignments with P&L responsibility for the Cyber and Air Force business units. Over his tenure at TASC from 2005 to 2011, revenues grew at a ~15% CAGR level to over $1.65B/year. In 2009, he helped lead the successful divestiture of TASC to KKR and General Atlantic in a $1.65B transaction.

Before joining TASC, Mr. Dodd worked in executive leadership roles from 2001 to 2005 for Space Imaging and from 1997 to 2001 for ORBIMAGE where he helped establish the commercial imaging Industry. At ORBIMAGE he secured the first guaranteed imagery data buy contract from the National Imagery & Mapping Agency (NIMA, now known as NGA) and led worldwide sales. At Space Imaging, he led Government sales and served as the Washington, DC client executive supporting the Intelligence Community and other customers.

Earlier in Mr. Dodd's career he was employed by Hughes Space & Communications where he led new program initiatives with the NRO and other customers. Mr. Dodd began his career with the Aerospace Corporation where he supported AF/SMC, DARPA, and NRO in a variety of satellite development programs. He established the Aerospace office supporting DARPA and led a Division supporting the Advanced Planning, Resource Management, and Policy Functions of NRO.

Mr. Dodd received his Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences from UCLA and his Master of Science in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University.

Patrick K. Talty

Mr. Patrick K. Talty is a Member of the Board of LinQuest Holdings Corporation and LinQuest Corporation. In addition, Mr Talty is Vice President and General Manager for the Intelligence and Information Solutions (IIS) Group of LinQuest Corporation. The IIS Group supports a broad range of National Security Customers located in the National Capital Region with offices in Chantilly, VA.

Mr. Talty spent 20 years at TASC and Northrup Grumman Corporation before joining LinQuest. Mr. Talty served in many roles at TASC, including Program Manager, Director and Vice President, leading many of TASC's Intelligence and DoD Programs. In his last role at TASC, Mr. Talty was the Senior Vice President for DoD programs responsible for coordinating all of TASC's new DoD programs. One of his key achievements while at TASC was winning the NRO Communications SE&I Program that at the time was TASC's largest contract. He also led TASC's initiative into the newly formed Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), winning the Fusion Program, which grew to one of the largest contracts supporting the offices within ODNI. Mr. Talty's team also scored a major success in 2010 at the Air Force Space and Missile System Center with the win of the Space-based Infrared Space System SE&I support program.

Prior to his civilian career at TASC, Mr. Talty had a distinguished 22 year career in the USAF. Some of his key assignments included Deputy for Technology for the Nation's Ballistic Missile Defense Programs and service at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He is a distinguished graduate of the USAF Test Pilots School and served as Deputy for Engineering on the F-16XL advanced development program at Edwards AFB. Mr. Talty also served a tour on the faculty of the United States Air Force Academy as an Assistant Professor of Engineering and as a Director of Research.

Mr. Talty is a graduate of both George Washington University and Virginia Polytechnic Institute with degrees in Engineering Materials, Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering. Additionally, he has completed executive education programs at the University of Virginia and Harvard University.
