13 June 2019 - LinQuest Corporation Receives $562 Million MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) Contract Award

LinQuest Corporation announced today that it has received a $562 million award from the U. S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) to provide architecting and full life-cycle systems engineering, integration, and solutions support to the military satellite communications enterprise. The portfolio of SMC programs supported by MSEIT includes all satellites, terminals, and networks for worldwide tactical, strategic, and wideband military communications.

4 March 2019 - LinQuest Names Timothy Dills as President and CEO

LinQuest Corporation has announced Timothy Dills as its new Chief Executive Officer and President.

Dills' appointment follows LinQuest's acquisition by Madison Dearborn Partners and CoVant Management and will provide new executive leadership focused on continuing the company's superior performance as well as capitalizing on its future growth opportunities. As enhancing and protecting national security space capabilities continues to be a U.S. priority, Dills will lead a broadened corporate development strategy to pursue opportunities that bring new market access and capabilities to the company, expand its customer base, attract and retain top talent, and increase engagement with all stakeholders.

"It's a privilege to be named LinQuest's CEO. I look forward to helping the company reach the next level while expanding opportunities for our greatest asset - our employees," said Dills. "I believe in transparent leadership fueled by honesty and trust. Dills was previously President of Scitor Corporation. Having joined the company in 1989 and becoming its President in 2008, he helped Scitor grow to be a $600M business. Following Scitor's sale to SAIC, Dills remained with the company for more than a year to support a successful transition. While at Scitor, he also led the successful acquisition and integration of Kinsey Technical Services, Inc. (KTSi), as well as Intelligence Community related assets acquired from General Dynamics.

30 May 2018 - Madison Dearborn Partners and CoVant Acquire LinQuest Corporation

Chicago and Los Angeles (30 May, 2018) - Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP) and CoVant Management (CoVant) announced today that they have acquired LinQuest Corporation (LinQuest or the Company), a leading provider to the U.S. defense and intelligence communities of space systems technology solutions, including large-scale systems engineering and integration, software and cyber systems development, complex systems modeling and simulation, data analytics, and turn-key mission solutions. LinQuest management, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Leon Biederman, will retain a significant minority ownership position in and will continue to lead the Company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

As part of the transaction, Bank of America Merrill Lynch is providing a credit facility to support the Company's continued growth.

30 April 2018 - LinQuest Chantilly Laboratory Opens

Chantilly, VA (30 April, 2018) - LinQuest is pleased to announce the opening of its new Chantilly Laboratory facility. This laboratory enables LinQuest to integrate and test commercial and government-owned equipment for rapid proof-of-concept development, product evaluation, and independent verification and validation of the equipment.

The new laboratory consists of approximately 1550 square feet of dedicated space with a high-bay ceiling, 500 square feet of storage space with a raised loading dock, and 1300 square feet of office space with a conference room.

The following capabilities exist for both wired and wireless network equipment: Rapid prototyping, Proof-of-Concept, Network simulation, Mock-up and staging, Performance testing, Interoperability testing, Long-term stability testing, Operational testing, Optical networking, Independent test and evaluation, Protocol analysis, Commercial encryption, Virtualized/cloud environments, Customer equipment "sandbox", Wired ethernet (presently up to a 10-gigabit ethernet), Wireless (3G, 4G/LTE, 802.11x Wi-Fi, radio access network/MANET).

The facility currently operates in an unclassified environment that allows commercial and government customers, vendors, and product engineers to use the facility without sponsor or mission association.

LinQuest Corporation's Acquisition Proficiencies Appraised at CMMI Level 3

Los Angeles, CA (April 6, 2018) - LinQuest Corporation announced today that its Space Systems Engineering and Integration (SSEI) Group has been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. The appraisal was performed by JFR Consulting.

CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a "defined" level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization's set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

LinQuest Corporation's MASIES Acquisition Program was used for the assessment of process artifacts and affirmations. Capability Level 3 was achieved in Measurement and Analysis, Process and Product Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management, Acquisition Requirements Development, Acquisition Validation, Acquisition Verification, and Acquisition Technical Management of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration v 1.3 (CMMISM). The assessment is based on results from a standard CMMISM Appraisal method for Process Improvement v1.3 (SCAMPISM).

LinQuest Corporation Awarded $99M Joint Navigation Warfare Center III Contract

Albuquerque, NM (March 12, 2018) - LinQuest Corporation is proud to announce the United States Strategic Command has awarded the $99M Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) III contract to LinQuest Corporation. LinQuest teamed with Booz Allen Hamilton, Gnostech Inc., Parsons Corporation, and PreTalen to win this very important program. LinQuest, together with its teammates, will assist the JNWC mission to enable Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), interagency partners, and the coalition, all focusing to enable PNT capabilities for the joint warfighter.

LinQuest Corporation Awarded $26M NUWC MILSATCOM Systems Engineering Services Contract

San Diego, CA (March 29, 2018) - LinQuest Corporation is proud to announce the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) has awarded the $26M NUWC MILSATCOM Systems Engineering Services contract to LinQuest Corporation. LinQuest teamed with Systems Technology Forum (STF), Networks Inmocean, A2 Systems Engineering, Serco, and Seacorp to win this important effort. LinQuest and its teammates will support NUWC Code 34 SATCOM systems programs for current and future-proposed protected, wideband, U.S., and International Partner Variant (IPV) MILSATCOM systems and subsystems. In these endeavors, LinQuest and its teammates will provide protected and wideband MILSATCOM systems engineering; protected MILSATCOM communications planning software tool analysis; and Navy MILSATCOM training and logistics support.
