LinQuest started business in February 2004, but the company and many of our initial staff have a heritage that dates back to LinCom Corporation. So while we are a young company, our association with MILSATCOM technologies, systems and customers dates back to 1976. It is this heritage that has evolved into the LinQuest culture that values performance, technical domain expertise and objectivity. Here are major milestones in the formation of LinQuest Corporation:

1974 – LinCom Corporation founded

2000 – Titan Corporation acquires LinCom

• The LinCom Advanced Information Systems Group becomes the Titan Communications and Software Solutions Division (CSSD)

2004 – Titan agrees to divest CSSD due to OCI issues raised by the imminent purchase of Titan by Lockheed Martin

• February – LinQuest purchases engineering portion of CSSD
• Initial cadre of 80 employee-owners transfer from Titan to LinQuest
• LinQuest is exclusively MILSATCOM oriented

2005 – LinQuest expands its SATCOM customers to include DISA, OSD/NII and NASA

2006 – LinQuest expands into Network Management Operations

2007 – LinQuest expands into GPS Operations, GPS SE&I and GPS MS&A

2008 – LinQuest breaks the 350 employee mark expanding into Launch, Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS), and Aeronautics.
