LinQuest has experience applying this expertise across the lifecycle of a program from the early system architecture and concepts of use to sustaining engineering and operations and everything in between. This experience includes Military and Commercial SATCOM programs like Milstar, AEHF, MUOS, TSAT, Spaceway, Inmarsat and Thuraya. LinQuest is also recognized for its expertise on terrestrial wireless systems including WiFi, WiMax, and Cellular systems.

Architecture, Concept of Use and System Design
LinQuest's engineering staff excels in the engineering of new systems starting with preliminary system concepts to definition of the system architecture and then spiraling into the system design. LinQuest applies systems engineering discipline and experience to programs throughout their lifecycle. LinQuest's system engineering approach is backed by world class SATCOM and wireless system analysis and modeling and simulation capability to validate architectural concepts and perform trade studies as well as a thorough understanding of state of the art technologies that could be brought to bear and incorporated into the system design. LinQuest is also recognized for having put forward innovative approaches and concepts to improve and simplify system designs. LinQuest has used its position as system experts to support its customers in developing source selection documents and reviewing proposals.

Integration and Adaptation of Terrestrial Systems, Standards and Services to SATCOM and High Altitude Platforms
LinQuest personnel have worked on a variety of systems adapting terrestrial wireless and network standards to satellite or high altitude platform communications. In fact, LinQuest's engineers are overseeing the adaptation of terrestrial cellular software to the MUOS program. LinQuest has also experience integrating standard internet protocols over existing satellite communications systems for network extension beyond line of sight.

Data Link Layer Design
LinQuest has been at the forefront in defining and designing the waveforms and protocols for current and future MILSATCOM systems. This experience includes designing and prototyping Turbocode and FPGA solutions for future systems to reduce risk and provide off-ramp alternatives.

Network Management
LinQuest is blazing trails on the convergence of terrestrial network management with SATCOM resource management.
