LinQuest's role on MILSATCOM programs combined with its networking experience has placed LinQuest at the forefront of the transformation toward converged networking and communications systems and integrating netcentric solutions into today's systems and designing these capabilities into future systems.

Internet Protocol Applications over Legacy Communications Systems
LinQuest has implemented solutions extending terrestrial networks beyond the line of sight by utilizing existing SATCOM platforms. For example, LinQuest has engineered a system that allows the Navy to network their ship board systems with other ships and shore stations using IP packets through existing MILSATCOM systems.

Net-centric Solutions on Emerging Programs and Standards
LinQuest has been engineering solutions to pass internet protocol traffic over circuits switched and packet switched MILSATCOM systems tackling tough issues such as internet protocol security, quality of service; seamless service to mobile platforms (communications on the move); and new EHF, Ka and optical waveform standards that support native internet protocol traffic across a single integrated platform as well as between systems. LinQuest has also evaluated new compliance standards developed for all netcentric systems for applicability and compliance in SATCOM systems. LinQuest is also involved in the engineering studies beginning to address the integration of terrestrial and SATCOM management systems.
